Scottish Network for Arthritis in Children (SNAC)
WHY RUN FOR SNAC
SNAC is a parent led charity that supports children with arthritis and their families and is run entirely by parent volunteers.
The objective of the charity is to provide a national support network for children with arthritis and their families through the provision of factual, practical and emotional support. It aims to pull together the wider community of affected children in Scotland as well as raise public awareness of childhood arthritis.
Join #TeamSNAC at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival and help us to continue our work to support children with arthritis. Register with us, and you’ll receive full fundraising support as well as a SNAC running top to wear on the day. If you have any questions, get in touch with us at [email protected] or call 07504 609510.
Thanks from Sharon and Tracy the SNAC Marathon Sub Team.
You can either join SNAC’s team with a Charity Assured Place where you pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship amount of £300 for individuals running the full marathon or £400 for relay teams (both excluding Gift Aid) or you can join us as an Own Entry Runner. Either way SNAC will supply:
- A SNAC running vest or t-shirt, plus your supporters can buy t-shirts to wear on the day.
- Information to share with your sponsors about SNAC’s work and how their donations will help children across Scotland.
- Cheerers to support you along the route
