COLLEAGUES COME TOGETHER FOR CANCER RESEARCH UK
Ann Erratt is taking part in Supernova London with a group of 8 colleagues from Marks & Spencer’s in Greenford Greats in memory of her mum Rose, who was sadly diagnosed with lung cancer in 2012 and lost her battle shortly after just 3 months later.
Ann’s store team have chosen to support our Official Charity Cancer Research UK for the year ahead and are completing as many events as they can together to raise vital funds to help beat cancer sooner. Ann said: “I’m running the Supernova 5K so no other person has to lose a family member in such a short space of time”.
Joining Ann at the start line on 3rd March is Caroline, Lee, Arun, Suzanne, Kelsey, Bambos, Ellie and Jody. Although the team’s fitness abilities vary, they are all sticking together to complete their Supernova 5K. “Our abilities couldn’t be more different if we tried. Running isn’t easy for me, I’m very out of shape then we have Arun and Suzanne who are gym regulars. Most of the team are fit and healthy but Caroline has a knee issue and struggles to walk for long periods – she is doing this to support us as she’s my best friend. I’m glad we’re doing this together to support each other”.
