Get ready… steady… GLOW! 
Get your friends and family together, dig out all your fluorescent clothing and grab everything and anything that glows or flashes… it’s time for the Supernova 5k at the Kelpies. Take part in this fun, timed 5k at dusk and enjoy the beautiful sculptures change colour as you run by and ultimately receive your lovely finishers medal. A great event for all the family to get involved in. Whatever your finish time, you’ll be a champion to children all across Scotland who need your help.

When you take on the Supernova 5k for Children First we will provide you with: 

  • A welcome pack with sponsor forms and helpful information to kick start your fundraising
  • A Children First top to wear proudly on the evening of your 5k
  • Training hints and tips to help you reach your potential
  • Dedicated support from a member of our fundraising team to help you every step of the way  

Why support Children First 

We protect children from harm, keep them safe, and support them to recover from trauma and abuse through our national support line and in their homes, schools and communities.
 
We help children, their families and the people who care for them by offering, emotional, practical and financial support.
 
We believe all children should have hopes, dreams and opportunities but for many they don’t exist. This has to stop. We must put children first. 
 
Together we can create a safer, brighter future for all children in Scotland.
